Due to increased volume of work and the challenges to the recruitment of agency and permanent social workers, the Council now needs to award an interim contract for managed service provider to supply up to three Childrens social care CAST teams for The Children & Families branch, without prior publication of a call for competition. This will be for a maximum of twelve months due to the urgent nature of this requirement and the importance of Childrens safeguarding. This interim contract will urgently provide additional capacity to keep the service safe and continue delivering effective interventions whilst a full procurement is undertaken for a longer-term contract. The interim contract will have a maximum value of £3,000,0000 (assuming three full teams in place for the full 12-month period)

This will be for a maximum of 12 months due to the urgent nature of this requirement and the importance of Childrens safeguarding. This notice is being published to inform the market of our intentions to commence a 10 day stand still period prior to the contract being awarded to Innovate (H & S C) Services Ltd (12230864) whose registered office is at 15 Friars Street, Ipswich, IP1 1TD. . This interim contract will urgently provide additional capacity to keep the service safe and continue delivering effective interventions whilst a full procurement is undertaken for a longer-term contract.
