The Contracting Authority is undertaking preliminary market engagement to inform the renewal of its existing energy procurement framework(s). The future structure of the arrangement is yet to be finalised, and will be shaped by feedback received during this engagement.
The proposed scope is expected to cover the flexible procurement and supply of Metered and Unmetered Electricity and/or Gas to public sector organisations. Additional services may be included, such as demand-side response, and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
The Contracting Authority is also exploring the inclusion of an optional lot for zero-carbon and low-carbon energy services.
Interested parties are invited to participate in this market engagement exercise to inform the development of the procurement strategy and ensure the future framework(s) deliver best value and innovation for the Public Sector. |
